Unsound Rags is a menswear showroom focused on the unique design elements of vintage clothing. Our team emphasizes sourcing garments that show signs of aging and wear. We like to showcase clothes that others would see as imperfect or, in some cases, unwearable. We take pride in selling garments with these characteristics.

ALL DOMESTIC ORDERS ARE SHIPPED VIA USPS PRIORITY MAIL, INTERNATIONAL ORDERS ARE SHIPPED VIA DHL EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL. ORDERS ARE PROCESSED WITHIN 1-3 BUSINESS DAYS.

WE DO OUR BEST TO SEND OUT ALL ORDERS IN A TIMELY MANNER. ONCE AN ORDER HAS BEEN PROCESSED, IT CAN NOT BE MODIFIED OR CANCELED. 

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS MAY BE SUBJECT TO DUTIES AND FEES, WHICH ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL. UNFORTUNATELY, WE CAN NOT COVER THESE FEE’S AND HAVE NO WAY OF CALCULATING THE CHARGE BEFORE YOUR ORDER IS PLACED. THESE FEES WILL BE LEVIED TO YOU UPON ARRIVAL OF YOUR ORDER.

Q: THE GARMENT I BOUGHT SHOWS WEAR, DIRT, PAINT, RIPS OR OTHER DISTRESS MARKS, IS THIS NORMAL?

A: WE SELL VINTAGE GARMENTS THAT ARE OFTEN DECADES OLD. WE PREFER TO SELL GARMENTS THAT HAVE AGED AND HAVE DEVELOPED UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS OVER TIME. THESE IMPERFECTIONS ARE TO BE EXPECTED WHEN SHOPPING FOR VINTAGE GARMENTS. WE WILL NOT TAKE ANY REQUESTS FOR RETURNS ON ITEMS THAT ARE MEANT TO HAVE THESE CHARACTERISTICS. 

Q: I HAVE RECEIVED A WRONG ITEM IN MY ORDER, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Q: THE ITEM I WAS LOOKING TO PURCHASE HAS SOLD OUT, WILL THERE BE A RESTOCK IN THE FUTURE?

A: ALL OF OUR ITEMS ARE UNIQUE ONE OF ONE VINTAGE GARMENTS, AS A RESULT, WE CANNOT RESTOCK THE ITEM IN QUESTION. HOWEVER, WE DO ADD NEW ITEMS TO OUR SHOP EVERY SINGLE DAY, SO A SIMILAR ITEM IS BOUND TO COME THROUGH OUR STORE AT ANY GIVEN TIME IN THE FUTURE. Q: THE ITEM I PURCHASED WAS TAGGED A SIZE THAT DOES NOT CORRESPOND TO THE WAY IT ACTUALLY FITS, WHY IS THIS THE CASE?

A: DUE TO THE NATURE OF SECONDHAND GARMENTS, A TAGGED SIZE WILL NOT ALWAYS REFLECT THE ACTUAL SIZE. THIS DISCREPANCY IS IN PART DUE TO WEAR OVER TIME, WASHING, SHRINKING, AND VARIATIONS OF PATTERNS ACROSS DIFFERENT ERAS. FOR EXAMPLE, A TAGGED LARGE SHIRT FROM THE 1970S WILL FIT DIFFERENT FROM A LARGE SHIRT FROM THE 1990S. THESE INCONSISTENCIES ARE TO BE EXPECTED WITH MOST VINTAGE CLOTHES. WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO MEASURE A FEW OF YOUR FAVORITE FITTING GARMENTS TO COMPARE THEM WHEN YOU’RE MAKING A PURCHASE WITH US.
